Activities  stimulate the senses, encourage participation, boost self-esteem and fulfill emotional needs. Daily living skills are also considered  activities . ...  Activities  of daily living are just as  important  as a game of cards as they are fulfilling emotional needs. A  skill  is the ability to carry out a task with determined results often within a given amount of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into  domain -general and domain-specific skills. For example, in the domain of work, some general skills would include  time management , teamwork and leadership, self-motivation. An inter house activity of the month skills redefined was conducted on 27th September from classes 3rd to 5th. Children of class three participated with full enthusiasm and presented any two skills through different mediums such as dance ,mime,art and yoga. Congratulations  to all participants and winners ! साल 1947 में जब भारत अंग्रेजी हुकुमत से आजाद हुआ तो बहुभाषी वाले इस देश के लिए राजभाषा चुनने को लेकर बड़ा सवाल खड़ा हो गया। लंबे विचार-विमर्श के बाद आखिरकार 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने हिंदी को राष्ट्र की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में चुनने का निर्णय लिया। इसी के साथ अंग्रेजी को भारत में हिंदी के साथ-साथ एक अतिरिक्त आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में चुना गया। बताया जाता है कि संविधान सभा ने देवनागरी लिपी में लिखी हिंदी को अंग्रजों के साथ राष्ट्र की भाषा के तौर पर स्वीकार किया था।  14 सितंबर 1949 को व्यौहार राजेन्द्र सिन्हा के 50 वें जन्मदिन पर, आखिरकार संविधान सभा द्वारा हिंदी को आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में चुन लिया गया। यह निर्णय 26 जनवरी 1950 को भारतीय संविधान के लागू होने के साथ ही प्रभाव में आया। भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 343 के तहत, देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी गई हिंदी को आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में अपनाया गया था।  देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू द्वारा इस दिन के महत्व को दर्शाने के लिए यह घोषणा की गई थी कि हर साल 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाएगा।
