On November 14 every year, Childre’s Day is celebrated all across India. It commemorates the birth anniversary of  Jawaharlal Nehru , who, due to his love for children was fondly known as Chacha Nehru. The day emphasises on the importance of giving love, attention and affection to children. “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country,” said Nehru. Nehru was a very strong advocate of the importance of education when it came to children. He was involved in establishing All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the Indian Institutes of Technology, the Indian Institutes of Management and the National Institutes of Technology. On this day, schools and colleges host cultural programs, functions and events. Many times, teachers also participate in these functions in order to show their love and affection for children. Diwali  is a  Hindu  festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere.  One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance." The student realized that diwali is not only about bursting crackers, it's essense is in sweets, new clothes, decoration and sharing moments of happiness with friends and family. 

Libraries are community treasure chests, loaded with a wealth of information available to everyone equally, and the key to that treasure chest is the library card A  library  is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing.  It provides physical or digital access to material, and may be a physical building or room, or a virtual space, or both. Students from class pp - IV enjoyed the puppet show celebrating library week . 

An inter- house monthly activity book mark on the theme MY FAVOURITE BOOK was conducted . The student of class 3rd participated enthusiastically and made creative and beautiful book mark on their favourite books and characters.
