We at DAV PRIMUS celebrated Janamshtami with our students. A small cradle was placed with a miniature Krishna's idol in it as a symbol of his birth. Children swing the cradle joyously and celebrated the arrival of Sri Krishna. The main significance of Janamshtami is to encourage good will and discourage bad will. Krishna Jayanti also celebrates togetherness. The holy occasion bring people together, thus it signifies unity and faith.
